His Time, Not Mine
The Story:
He checked his watch again. Seconds slipped by, but the pressure stayed. The world taught him that time is a race — that if he’s not ahead, he’s already behind. Deadlines, dreams, disappointments… they circled his mind.
But Scripture says something different.
God isn’t bound by our clocks. “With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” (2 Peter 3:8) He created time — not to trap us, but to guide us. And while we worry about moments, He works through eternity.
In the clouds above, Jesus looks down — not rushing, not delayed. The pages of time drift from above, not because God loses track, but because every day is already known to Him. “All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.” (Psalm 139:16)
This piece is about letting go of your own timeline.
It’s about remembering that your stress doesn't speed Him up — and your delay doesn’t slow Him down. It’s about trusting the One who writes the story, even when you don’t see the next page.
You don’t have to figure it all out.
You just have to stop watching the clock and start watching Him.
His time, not mine.
